Our Consortium
The strength of the PRODIGI team lies in its diverse capabilities, aligned with the project’s scientific and policy-relevant objectives.
PRODIGI brings together four academic partners
KU Leuven (coordinator)
Universidade NOVA de Lisboa
Jagiellonian University

University of Physical Culture
The project runs from 2025 to 2027 and is coordinated at KU Leuven by Prof. Leen d’Haenens and Dr. Tania Azadi with Prof. Łukasz Tomczyk from Jagiellonian University in Kraków and Prof. Cristina Ponte from Universidade NOVA de Lisboa as beneficiaries and co-leaders.
A dissemination network will be established, leveraging the policy expertise of civil society organisations to engage with PRODIGI partners. In addition to their academic excellence, partners have contributed research and policy reports to various national, European, and international institutions, including the EC and multiple national governments.
The PRODIGI team has been structured to cover all the research themes explored in the project, drawing upon a wealth of academic excellence and diverse disciplinary approaches. Partners have previously collaborated on various projects (ySKILLS, REMEDIS, EU Kids Online) and will once again participate together in all WPs.

This collaborative approach fosters strong synergies among the different WPs. In establishing the consortium, we also aimed for balanced geographical representation within the EU, with partners from Belgium, Poland, and Portugal.
We have also expanded our expertise by forming the PRODIGI advisory board, comprising accomplished experts.
